Taxis
Small regional areas generally don’t provide taxi services, however, most larger regional centres have at least one taxi service. Contact the local council in your area for information regarding services available in your town.
Taxi services are available in all major cities. Young people tend to use taxis as transport late at night or in the very early morning. You can either phone and book a taxi or look for a taxi at a taxi rank in the city.

HINTS
Store a taxi telephone number in your mobile phoneTaxis can usually only take four people. If you have a large group and want to all travel together try ordering a mini bus. They only cost the same as a taxi, and there are more of you to share the fare!
Taxis are more expensive than other forms of public transport and aren’t ideal for use all the time if you’re on a budget.
If you hop into a taxi on your own, it is a good idea to text the taxi driver's ID number (usually on the left corner on the windscreen) to either a friend of your parents. You could even let the taxi driver know that you are doing this.
You have the right to choose which taxi you do or do not utilise
